Once a year, the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber devotes an evening to reflect on the accomplishments and achievements of its members. The year 2020 is, however, like no other year. In light of the vast challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has presented, the Business Leadership Awards Gala will recognize and honor leaders in our community who are helping all of us navigate through the global storm. When making your recommendations, we ask that you give special consideration to individuals whose work efforts have made a difference throughout our communities.

Our honorees will accept their awards at the magnificent TPC Jasna Polana where guests will honor their friends and colleagues at a virtual event that is typically limited to only a select number of people. Please consider nominating a worthy individual for one of the following awards by clicking on the corresponding button below the award:

 

Business Leader of the Year Award
The Chamber’s Annual Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the communities of the Princeton-Mercer Region. This individual’s ideas, vision and hard work have led to significant tangible benefits in our community. By using the resources at their disposal, the actions of this person have led to growth in the stature, reputation and significance of the Princeton-Mercer Region. The Leader of the Year is a role model for others.

Community Leader of the Year Award
The Chamber’s Annual Community Leader of the Year recognizes an individual or organization demonstrating effective longstanding community support. Candidates must be a Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce member who is seen as a community leader, a concerned and engaged citizen or organization that demonstrates the spirit of giving through volunteerism and/or philanthropy and is dedicated to improving the Princeton-Mercer Region. Nominees should be tireless in their quest to challenge the “Status Quo” in order to improve his or her community.

Innovator of the Year Award
The Chamber’s Annual Innovator of the Year Award recognizes an individual, business, or organization that has been instrumental in promoting change and innovation in their industry, their field of interest, or in the communities of the Princeton-Mercer Region. This award recognizes the diversity of the Princeton-Mercer Region and celebrates the spirit of innovation and creativity that we all enjoy and benefit from. The award recognizes that innovation can take many forms, from a product, a program, a process, or a challenge to the “status quo.”

Entrepreneur of the Year Award
The Entrepreneur of the Year is based on Small Business Administration (SBA) industry guidelines. Selection criteria includes sales and job growth, community contributions, ability to overcome obstacles and staying power.
