Body of your Article: Peter Weedfald’s years of charitable service receive recognition from mental health advocacy organization, Attitudes in Reverse.

PRINCETON, NJ, August 23, 2021 – In recognition of his lifelong commitment to charitable work, Peter Weedfald, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sharp Home Elec-tronics Company of America, has been selected by New Jersey-based nonprofit Attitudes in Reverse® (AIR) as the 2021 Champion of Hope Honoree. Weedfald will be recognized at the organization’s 5th Annual Taste of Hope event, a distinguished community celebration to be held on October 13th, from 6 PM to 9 PM ET, at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal.

Throughout his career as an executive in the consumer electronics industry, Peter Weedfald has dedicated time and resources to service and charitable endeavors, particularly for children in need. This includes his participation in creating and maturing charitable foundations such as ViewSonic’s Journey of Hope, Circuit City’s Firedog Across America, Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope, and Hope for Education. Peter’s book, Green Reign Leadership, is another vehicle for philanthropy, with the majority of proceeds being donated to charity organizations. Green Reign Leadership is available for sale in 11 countries and is also translated into Mandarin.

“We all work tirelessly to serve our company and our valued customers every day at Sharp, still our responsibilities don’t end there,” said Peter Weedfald. “It is much more rewarding to give than to receive. My time and efforts towards giving has been centered around children and teenagers in need. I am thrilled and honored to be part of Attitudes in Reverse (AIR) as this caring, sharing and giving organization is focused on helping young people.”

“We greatly admire Peter’s dedication to supporting organizations whose missions are to improve young people’s health and wellbeing to help maximize their potential to achieve many goals throughout their lives. We are honored to recognize Peter for his tremendous contributions to these vital initiatives and extremely grateful for his and Sharp’s generous support for AIR,” said Co-Founders Tricia Baker, YMHFA, CPDT-KA, and Kurt Baker, YMHFA, CFP®.
