COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund Grant Applications Now Being Accepted

The Princeton Area Community Foundation is now accepting grant applications for the COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund.

We know many nonprofits are struggling to serve their clients and fulfill their missions, while worrying about the wellbeing of their staff.

We also know that so many of our most vulnerable residents rely on nonprofits every day. Charitable organizations help strengthen our communities, and that’s why we worked with more than a dozen other funders to create this fund. We want to respond to the short-term immediate needs in our communities in the face of this crisis, as well as the long-term needs that we expect to arise.

Rapid response is our objective. Applications will be accepted daily, with a 3 pm deadline. Grants submitted after that time will be considered on the following day. When an application is approved, we will work to expedite a grant, but the timeline may vary depending on the volume of applications received. 

Requests are for unrestricted support. Please be realistic in the amount of your request. While fundraising efforts are continuous, we have limited resources, and we’re trying to meet as many needs as possible.

You may apply for short-term, immediate or longer-term needs, as defined in the application. If you apply for short-term immediate funding now, you may apply for long-term funding at a later date, as long as funds are still available. 

Applications are only accepted electronically through our online grants portal.

We want to thank the many foundations, companies, charitable funds and individuals who have contributed to this fund, including our major funding partners.

2019 Grants

We are also changing restrictions related to some of our 2019 grants in the wake of this crisis.

If your organization is a recipient of a 2019 program grant from our Community Impact Grants, All Kids Thrive initiative, the Bunbury Fund or the Fund for Women and Girls, we ask that you contact us to discuss modifying your grant during this crisis. While we believe grant reporting is useful to understand the impact your organization is making, we are suspending reporting requirements until further notice.
