Fireside Chat: Current Trends in Life Sciences Funding

The life sciences industry ecosystem is as robust as ever. Early-stage capital has trended upward for several years, while larger venture capital funding for healthcare has set record highs. According to JPMorgan Chase & Co., “Funding raised by venture capitalists in healthcare and life sciences in the first half of this year may be on pace to surpass those raised in 2018 and 2019.”

Join us on Friday, November 6 at 1 p.m. EDT for a fireside chat with Dora Mitchell and David Tukey as they discuss “Current Trends in Life Sciences Funding.”

Mitchell is an entrepreneurial life science leader, with 20 years of experience across research, venture capital, academic incubation and technology transfer, and the building of young life science companies.

Tukey is a healthcare investor at Point72 Asset Management, a multi-strategy investment firm with >$17b under management.

Cohosted by Princeton Innovation Center BioLabs and the Princeton Entrepreneurship Council, this event is part of Princeton University’s Engage 2020, a three-day inaugural innovation and entrepreneurship conference live and online, November 4–6. You must register for the conference to attend the fireside chat.
