Princeton-Blairstown Center’s Family Camp Program Extended

All accomodations offered for Family Camp have indoor bathroom facilities, WiFi, a kitchenette, and air conditioning, and sleep up to 8 people.

The Princeton-Blairstown Center (PBC) will extend its new Family Camp offerings at its Blairstown Campus into the fall. Located 70 miles from downtown Princeton, the Center offers 264-acres of pristine woodlands, waterfalls, beautiful Bass Lake, and Blair Creek – and all just a few miles from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

With large organized groups unable to attend PBC’s traditional programming in-person due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Family Camp is a way for household groups to take a break from their routines while still safely adhering to public health guidelines. In addition to hikes, campfires, games, movies, and lifeguarded waterfront activities (canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, etc.), new for fall is an option for families to enroll their students in grades K-12 in staff-supervised academic sessions, allowing caregivers to work, explore, or relax while their child participates in their virtual instruction for the day.

Family Camp at PBC will be extended through October 31.

Up to three hours of socially-distanced, staff-led outdoor activities and two meals per day are provided. Each cabin or lodge offered is equipped with full indoor bathroom facilities, a kitchenette, WiFi, and air conditioning/heating.

A limited number of cabins and lodges are available Monday-Saturday through October 31, and each sleeps a maximum of eight people.
