Shakira M. Brown, CEO of SMB Strategic Media LLC and Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee member has been invited to be a Keynote Speaker among healthcare Information Technology (IT) experts during the Healthcare IT Security Forum October 15-16, 2018 at The Westin Copley Place in Boston, MA ( The 2018 Healthcare Security Forum brings together the industry’s top information security pros to discuss cutting edge tactics and strategies to protect their data assets. The event is organized by HIMSS, an innovative full-service digital information and in-person events group that supports that delivers trusted information and insight to a global audience of healthcare technology decision-makers and influencers.

Brown, an award-winning branding and communications strategist, will help kick off the Forum by leading a keynote session on October 15 at 1:30pm titled, “Cultivate C-Suite Champions with These Communication Tactics,” which will feature best practice strategies for healthcare data security pros to present their IT agenda more effectively to decision makers. Brown will present attendees with proven methods to have more meaningful conversations all year long and provide tactics to improve their capabilities to persuade and influence to achieve the results they want.
