Visit Princeton Produces #MeetUsInMercer

Princeton, NJ – November 11, 2021 – Visit Princeton, the region’s official tourism promotion office, has produced a promotional video focused on hospitality venues in the Princeton-Mercer Region of New Jersey. The Princeton Mercer Convention and Visitors Bureau [PMCVB], a program of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to promoting tourism and business in the region and this commercial spot is part of a drive to restart the meeting planning industry in Mercer County and surrounding areas.
Route 1 is home to some of the largest pharmaceutical and financial companies nationwide and hundreds of corporate office complexes. The meeting and event industry was drastically impacted by the pandemic, Mercer County seeing a decrease of almost 60% growth, the highest of all NJ counties.

The Princeton-Mercer Region is home to seven of the fifty largest meeting & conference centers in New Jersey, and the video will be part of new advertising efforts geared to increase awareness of the area to meeting planners as they start planning in-person or hybrid events into 2022.

“Mercer County venues offer the latest in technology, luxury accommodations and the charm of a hometown setting. Each location has a quality that makes it unique and offers industry defining service. We look forward to regenerating the hospitality industry and welcoming back meeting planners and visitors in 2022,” said Jeff Hurley, Chair of the PMCVB, President and GM of Trenton Thunder Baseball Club.

The video highlights 10 of Mercer County’s event venues, showcasing the unique history, culture and prestige of the Region.

Featured venues and services include:
• The Crown Plaza Princeton & Conference Center
• Cure Insurance Arena
• Chauncey Conference Center
• TPC Jasna Polana
• Nassau Inn/ Palmer Square
• Princeton Marriott at Forrestal
• Grounds for Sculpture
• The Boathouse at Mercer Lake
